Performance – Installation in Arteis festival 2015

A kitchen, a TV and a window. A woman tears apart her already fragmented memory by kissing her visitors her past. The words, hidden for a long time, bring to the present her life from the Occupation, the flight to the Middle East, the return. Each visitor is a separate piece of history. In the next room, these pieces take their place and compose a timeline that captures the path of the refugee. When the woman is missing, the television shows contemporary moments of the refugee, twins of the memories. The story is based on an interview of Argyros Tripoulas in the context of research by Efrosynisa Koutsoutis on behalf of the Center for Documentation, Research & Action of Ikaria.
