The turtle shell: A primitive and most effective means of protection, still so inadequate when seen as a way of relating to one another.

The challenge: A constant struggle of humanity to achieve the difficult-as-hell passing from the dark defensive and primitive loneliness to experience the unlimited fulfillment, deriving from the blessed risking art of relating to one another.

The sweet torment of the artist: To visualize this goal-of-life passage from a state of merely surviving, to being a person.

The material: Paper. Life carrying as so recyclable subsequently sustainable, a real life partner.

The technique: Paper sculpturing.  A full of respect dialogue between the artist’s dexterities and the fragility of paper.
